Synopsis

Cinderella is a poor working girl trapped into a life of drugery. Her two ugly sisters make life even harder for her. One day while out collecting firewood, she is spotted by the handsome prince who seems to have seen her before in his dreams. He needs to try to get to see her again so he organises a ball at the palace.

Cinderella of course would love to go to the ball, but as her sisters keep giving her work to do she cannot attend. However, after helping an old lady by gathering her some firewood she later appears as her fairy Godmother, and casts a magic spell so Cinders can attend the Prince's ball after all. However there's a condition attached, she must be home by midnight..

Will Cinders get to marry the Prince after all?

Cinderella Shall Go To The Ball - And Also The Panto!

The 'Gruesome Twosome', in the shape of retired teacher Len Hill and IT project Manager Mark Swinson, provide most of the laughs in Hucknall Lovelace Theatre Group's annual pantomime, Cinderella.

The production, being staged at the John Godber Centre's Lovelace Theatre on Ogle Street, began a four-performance run last night.
